I wore this look the other day (in early August) and I wasn’t too hot at all! While the long tunic top is great for layering in early fall and the cooler months – it wasn’t too hot for summer, either!

casual summer to fall outfits

You can never go wrong with a classic sweater vest or cardigan paired with jeans! I opted for lighter colors so that these pieces can be perfect for summer while subtly hinting at fall. Another key for styling for late summer to early fall is your shoe choice. I completed both of these looks with summer-y heels but will probably swap to Chelsea boots once the weather cools down a bit!

chestnut clutch | black clutch | acorn clutch | black + brown tank tops

Speaking of completing looks… these designer inspired clutches are as beautiful! I bought three colors and can easily get away with using the acorn clutch to elevate any late summer styles. The chestnut and black will be perfect once my wardrobe transitions to warmer tones for early fall. These tank tops have a bit of a cropped look to them but they’re perfect for a warm summer day or if you need an extra layer for early fall.

I love using this outfit as a base for any early fall look! This long sleeve is my go-to layering piece every fall because it’s so versatile. If I wanted to cozy up this look, I would style it with my new puffer vest or look for less half-zip sweatshirt. The ruffle socks look so cute here over my leggings but would make great boot socks, too!

I love the real thing and the look for less version! Both sneakers are amazing for everyday wear and are so comfy. The biggest difference between the two is the price tag. 10/10 would recommend either pair for your late summer to early fall wardrobe!

I will be living in this two-piece set all fall long! It would make a great travel set or loungewear look. It’s available in tons of colors making it the perfect summer to fall find. This cozy cardigan is geared a little more to early fall but I had to share! The matching set I’m wearing it with is actually short sleeved making it a great choice for a warmer day and is so easy to layer.
