Feb 9, 2024 — Welcome to launch day of the Our PNW Home x Surya rug collection!!!! Did I really just say that? What once was a dream, is now a reality. It seems crazy to finally write this blog. I’ve been dreaming of this day since my first meeting with with the Surya team, its like I am living an actual dream. A year ago, my dream started to really become a reality when I was given the opportunity of a lifetime to start my own line. I was given a chance, and one I will never take for granted. I have poured my heart and soul into this rug collection, and I truly hope you love it as much as I do. If you are a new follower, or one that has been around for a while, I hope you know that I appreciate you, and thank you for your endless support.

When things really started to take off, I put some deep thought into the direction I wanted to take this collection. As I am a Pacific Northwest girl, there was no doubt I had to curate the collection to speak PNW. In the collection, you’ll find the names following after iconic places and areas within the Pacific Northwest, such as Rainier, Spokane, Cascade, and the Olympics. You can find them all linked HERE.

Lets break the collection down a little…

Cascade

Two bold patterns bring together the Cascade collection. I wanted something that was cozy, and neutral. These rugs offer the softest touch of the entire collection and are the perfect brown and white. I have them both in my home, you can get a sneak peek of the Cascade 2301 in my living room. The beige/grey area rug is featured in my living room and is also available in light gray!

Spokane

Since I am from Spokane, I had to name a few after this glorious city I reside in. The larger sizes can be found in these machine-woven rugs, going up to 10×14. Both are neutral, with light color hues – perfect for adding Spring touches to your spaces. I have the Spokane 2300 (light gray) in my formal dining room!

Rainier

My washable, machine-woven rugs. Here you will find harmonious blends of neutrals and earthy tones and patterns. You will find the washable rug collection in my home, especially in the kitchen, bathroom, and other living spaces! Being able to quickly clean up a mess is an absolute lifesaver.

Olympic

The Olympic… oh how she might be last in the listing here, but certainly not the least favorite. I actually am really in love with the Olympic collection. Here you’ll find a beautiful mixing of colors and neutral patterns. This collection was 1000% designed with kid’s rooms in mind (featuring Shayla and Aspen’s room) and of course Spring!

Off-White Olympic Area Rug | Throw Pillows | Accent Chair

While I love color, I don’t usually put a ton in my home… well let me tell you that has changed and I am so in love with light pastels in my spaces. I am loving it so much that I even have one in my home office. The texture of these rugs is my favorite, I love using rug pads with these to offer a soft pad.
