Change can be difficult but it is SO important to ensure we are consistently growing. With that thought in mind, I decided it was time for a bedroom refresh! I felt that the new year was the perfect time to bring some change into our home, including getting rid of ALL of our carpet (which I am beyond excited for). I didn’t make too many changes to our bedroom but the changes I did make entirely transformed the space!

This floor mirror is one of my favorite pieces in our room. I love decorating it for the holidays but sometimes I miss seeing the simplicity of it all. Styling a home during the winter months can be tricky but these neutral tones and textured accent pillows do the trick! Bright white in any room is perfect for winter decor, as well. White helps create the illusion of a winter wonderland and who doesn’t want that?

The white furniture and accent bedding really brightens up this space. Winter can be dark and dreary so it’s important to bring light wherever you can in your home! I swore the white brick wall wouldn’t last long but I may be re-considering. With this new bed, the colors contrast beautifully instead of getting lost in each other. The changes made to this room aren’t exactly significant but they do make a difference!

Looking at these two bedroom refreshes side by side is CRAZY! The ‘before’ photo is from my brick wall project which gave me plenty of headaches but ultimately I was happy with the end result. However, looking at the transformation this latest refresh has brought has me, I am thrilled I decided to do something new. Adding a touch of color with these neutral tones really makes the space feel that much bigger!
