Believe it or not, your holiday party hosting begins right on your front porch! Don’t worry, you don’t have to create a DIY garland arch if you don’t want to. However, adding a touch of the holidays to your front door and front porch goes a long way. A wreath with a simple ribbon, Christmas trees with lights and faux stems – it all makes a difference. When your guests arrive, you want them to know you are all in for this holiday party!
Outdoor Christmas Lighting
We all know first impressions are everything – festive and bright colored lights on your home are a great start. This is the first impression your guests will see when they drive up the road or your driveway for your holiday party. These outdoor lights are the best holiday hack! They come in a pack of four and that’s all we used to light up the ENTIRE house. They glide easily into the ground making for an easy set-up. These flood lights have the capability for you to select one color or a pattern of colors to light up your home! With these lights, you’ll easily set the tone for your holiday party.

Build your own mimosa bar
I create a new version of a mimosa bar cart each year strictly for this occasion and I am so excited to use these for this years holiday party! It’s never too early (or too late) for some holiday mimosas! What I love most about this year’s idea is that the ornaments can be easily washed out and used for years to come. Since this is a build your own mimosa bar, I opted to fill mine with different types of juice but the options are endless! You could concoct your own holiday themed shot and make it a boozy tree instead. This is a holiday party essential to ensure YOU don’t get stuck playing bartender all night instead of entertaining your guests!
Hot Cocoa Bar

Hot cocoa is an absolute must-have for a holiday party. I mean, there are so many amazing options for such a simple drink. You could even spice things up and add a shot of espresso to your hot cocoa if you need to wake up a bit! If your guests need to head out but are craving a hot chocolate, be sure to have festive to-go cups so they can take one for the road. This is such a fun idea for holiday parties and is kid-friendly too, in case you have little ones running around!
