Shopping for new furniture, ESPECIALLY a new couch, can be extremely stressful and time-consuming. Luckily, I decided to work with Sixpenny and their FREE design team to personally customize the sectional of my dreams. I wanted something aesthetically pleasing that matched the existing style in our basement. However, I also wanted something large and cozy enough for the entire family to comfortably enjoy spending time together. I mean, this is where we host our family game nights after all!

I personally customized everything about this sectional – from the color of the material, to what it’s filled with, and the precise measurements. Sixpenny offers cotton linen and cotton canvas, I selected ‘Pacific Pearl’ in the cotton linen material. At the end of the day, poly fill and feather down present the same, BUT poly fill has a bit of a spongier feel. Since this is a deep-seat couch, I wanted something that would be comfortable for everyone and long-lasting, aka a quality investment! Being able to customize such a significant piece of furniture for our basement was refreshing – the exact measurements for this sectional are 170” W x 160” D.

Creating a space that was open enough for all of us to enjoy one another’s company has been important to me for the last few months. I started revamping our basement a while ago and slowly but surely, it is becoming one of my favorite spaces in our home! I always talk about how important it is to love every space in your home, the basement is no exception. This sectional is exactly what the basement was needing. I highly recommend making the jump and going all in and creating the couch of your dreams. It is 100% worth it!
