I refreshed my basement landing with winter touches. Even though the holidays are over, I wanted to still incorporate winter items throughout the home. I’ve received a bunch of questions recently on what items I use, where these pieces are from and I am here to give it all to you! These items come from a few different places, but I love meshing similar neutral styles and letting the staircase pop with the dark wood. Basement Landing | Table Standing Area

I wanted to mix in slight winter touches on this landing space. These faux crystalized branches are on of my favorite finds. You can use these throughout multiple areas in your home, however I love putting them in vases. It’s not a real branch so there is no watering to worry about, but still ties into together with the winter style. I got these branches from Crate & Barrel, which are on sale for less than $10 right now!

This sitting area is super cozy and tucked away where if you need a relaxing place to sit, read a book, or just chill this is the spot. These wide chairs are very comfortable. I prefer a wider chair because they is more room to lean back and relax. This area rug caught my eye, and I love the square detailing throughout the pattern.

Key Tip: If you are looking for table decor, or don’t know what to fill an empty space with. When in doubt grab a vase. These terracotta vases come in multiple sizes and shapes to look different. I have these everywhere around my home and you can use them throughout multiple seasons!
