There’s something about this time of year that makes me want to slow down and spend more time outside. I’ve been giving our outdoor spaces a little refresh with simple, thoughtful pieces that bring comfort and style without feeling overdone. I brought in lounge chairs for the lake, tall planters to add some privacy, and soft neutral pillows to pull everything together. Each piece has helped make the patio feel more like an extension of our home. If you’re thinking about updating your porch, backyard, or even getting things ready for the cabin, here are a few of my favorite outdoor finds this season.
What’s Coming With Me to the Cabin

I set everything up out here just to get a feel for it, and now I’m kinda obsessed. This whole setup is actually going to the cabin, but I couldn’t resist trying it out first. The mix of textures, the soft neutral cushions, and those floral and stripe pillows make it feel so cozy without being too done up. It’s relaxed, lived-in, and still looks put together. The white stone table adds the perfect little touch in the center. I can already see us hanging out on this at the cabin and I’m so excited to get it all out there.
Privacy, Texture and a Little Color

Adding greenery is such a simple way to bring life and warmth to any outdoor space. I’ve been using these planters on both the patio and the front porch, and they’ve made such a difference. The tall planters with faux stems are perfect for adding a little privacy without blocking the light, and the height gives everything more dimension. I went with a mix of tall grasses, soft lavender, and faux greenery to keep it low-maintenance but still full of texture. The neutral colors help everything feel pulled together in a really natural way. It’s one of those updates that makes the space feel more styled and welcoming without being overdone. Just clean, calming, and easy to love.
Shady Spots and Soft Pillows

Sometimes it’s the small details that make the biggest impact. Swapping in a few fresh pillows and adding a solar umbrella completely changed the feel of this patio. I kept the colors soft and neutral with a mix of textures and prints to keep things looking cozy but still elevated. The umbrella adds just the right amount of shade and makes the space feel more intentional without being overdone.
And I have to mention these lounge chairs—they’re such a win. Perfect for lakeside relaxing and they give that high-end, luxury feel without the steep price tag. They’ve been such a good addition and pull everything together in the best way. It’s become one of my favorite spots to unwind or host a slow afternoon with friends.
