Happy Thursday friends! Wow, what a busy week! My family and I just got back from Disneyland for their Spring Break. Plus, we had Easter weekend so we have been on the go! However, this family time was the much needed time we needed! We took the kids to Disneyland and they had an absolute blast! I know Disney is a trip that many families take each year and I am here to help you have the best experience, and know what to wear. Check out below all the essentials to make your trip amazing!

Disneyland Trip | Park Outfit Essentials
Quay Sunglasses | Black Romper | White Half Zip Jacket | Black Joggers (17% off) | Lululemon Belt Bag | Nike Sneakers
When you go to a park as big as Disneyland it is key that you have comfortable clothes. Because you do a LOT of walking! I wanted to make sure that I wore comfortable clothes that would last me all day long. I wore comfy tennis shoes everyday at the park. It warmed up to high 70s most of the days so I would strip a layer off after the morning chill was gone. This romper was perfect for when it warmed up outside, and I got a bunch of compliments on it!
One of the best things that we did was stay at the Disneyland hotel, which is right by the park! We LOVED this because it allowed us to walk to and from the park entry in just a few minutes. The hotel had an amazing water park which the kids loved! The magical rooms really enhanced the experience for the kids and you truly felt like you were transported into a Disney movie!
Highly recommend: Staying at either the Disneyland Hotel or the Grand Californian as they are right next to the park! Staying at the park you get in a half hour earlier, so we were able to get in 3-5 rides before the park opened up to everyone else!
Disneyland Trip | Disney Outfits
Minnie & Co. Custom T-Shirt | Minnie Mouse Bow Hair Clips | Cream Minnie Mouse Kids Outfit | Pink Mini Mouse Outfit | Pink Bow Minnie Mouse Ears
My daughter and I were definitely in the Minnie Mouse mood, and it did not disappoint. This Minnie & Co. T-Shirt you can customize on Etsy to fit the style you are looking for. You can order multiple for the whole family! I put these Minnie Mouse bow hair clips in my daughter’s hair and I will say it was quite precious. Highly recommend for all the cuteness if you have a daughter!
Disney Pro Tip: Buy the Genie+ tickets.
We saved HOURS of not standing in lines! Most time we ever spent was 15 mins, and rode every ride at Disneyland in one and half days! You are able to reserve your spot in line and essentially almost walk right on the ride. Once you check in, you make your next reservation for the next ride. Another benefit of staying at the park is going back later to get on the rides you couldn’t hit during the day.
Disneyland Tips & Tricks
I HIGHLY recommend booking a reservation in advance for Goofy’s Kitchen or for a Character Breakfast! I only recommend doing one, just because they are expensive. But if I had to choose, I would choose the breakfast option! Other restaurants in and around the park are no problem! We got in super quick, so do not stress about making a reservation for the other restaurants.
One of our favorite go-to spots on this trip was Splitzville! It’s a super fun bowling alley in downtown Disney, and we ate there a couple times throughout our trip!
I have to feature the best Stroller that I used for this trip! This stroller was absolutely amazing and was a game changer for the kids for how long we were out all day. It was a two-seater so when Remington and Aspen got tired they could sit or stand! For snacks I had Instacart deliver to our room for breakfast food and packed a lot of snacks for the kids during the days. Uncrustables were a hit!!
Disneyland Trip | Beach Day
Mens Swim Trunks | Women’s White and Blue One Piece | Little Boy Blue Swim Trunks | Girls One Piece Swimsuit
With only being about a 20-30 minute drive from coast, we hit Huntington beach for the day! We shopped, spent some time at the beach, played in the sand and spent amazing quality time together as a family. We also had matching and similar swimwear which was a big hit!
One of our trip days we went down to watch Shayla perform at Universal Studios! We went and toured Universal for the day, watched Shayla dance, and then took a short little car ride to the LA Zoo! This is a must do, if you have kids or even the San Diego Zoo for another amazing option.
Overall it was an absolute amazing Spring Break with my family, and would love to do it again! If you are planning on going to Disney any time soon, I highly recommend doing what we did. It made the trip so much easier and the kids absolutely loved it!
I hope you all are having an amazing week, and diving into an even better weekend! I love getting to share with you all of my favorite things to do and connect with each with you! See you next week!
XO, J
